Design
Each Alfa knife goes through the same strenuous process, I first think of what type of knife I want to make, what will it be used for, what materials would be most appropriate. After deciding on the type of knife I plan to create, materials are chosen of high quality and strength, spending hours and often days perfecting each blade and handle, testing it for strength and performance for the buyer. I greatly enjoy the design process as it gives me artistic freedom to create one of a kind pieces, or to work with the buyer to design something unique for them.
Materials
Blades: I typically use precision ground O1 tool steel for my blades. Blade thickness ranges from 1/8" for light concealed carry knives to 5/32" which is common for my bushcraft and larger fighters. I save 3/16" for my largest fighters and heavy hackers. Each blade is heat treated to peak hardness and then tempered to around 60/61 Rockwell hardness.
Handles: Scales are made from synthetic material known as Micarta. This material is very durable and can withstand almost any condition. Scales get stacked with layers of colored G-10 or vulcanized fiber for a variety of color combinations. The next step is to be epoxied and pinned to the blade tang. Pins are either solid synthetics or hollowed stainless tubes for lanyards. All pins pierce scales and blades.

Warranty : Guaranteed to last your lifetime. If it breaks under "routine" use I will repair or replace it. My blades are built for use. That's my guarantee.
